 Gardenside Lodge is the perfect base for exploring the rich beauty and history of County Durham and The Dales.

Accommodation:

Nestled in a large private garden, Gardenside Lodge offers a magical, tranquil escape. Inside, you'll find:

• A welcoming living space with a dining area

• A double bedroom and a bunk room

• A shower room

• A fully equipped kitchen

Outdoor Features:

• Private Patios: Enjoy your morning coffee or bask in the sunshine amidst beautiful, lush gardens.

• The Folly: Gather around a crackling fire with loved ones, creating cherished memories.

Location:

The village offers numerous countryside walks for leisurely strolls. We're just a 10-minute drive from local amenities like supermarkets, shops, cafes, and restaurants. Key nearby attractions include:

• Kynren

• Raby Castle

• Auckland Castle

• The Spanish Art Gallery

• The Faith Museum

Public Transport:

While public transportation is available, it is limited. Having a car is best for convenient access to attractions such as:

• High Force

• Barnard Castle

• Beamish Museum All within a 30 to 60-minute drive.

Access and Parking:

• The accommodation is on one level with 3 steps at the front and low-level access at the rear.

• Not recommended for those who use a wheelchair or have children under 2.

• Free secure parking for 2 cars with driveway gates locked at night.

Pet-Friendly:

We welcome dogs (maximum 2 due to the size of the property).
