Beamish Museum
Also less than 40 minutes away from Gardenside Lodge, is Beamish Open Air Museum which brings the region's past back to life. Here you can explore a working farm, a traditional town and even take a ride on the Tram. We would thoroughly recommend a visit to Davey's Fish and Chip shop and the sweet shop. Personally, we believe Beamish Museum should not be missed and if it is of keen interest to you, be sure to speak with your host Kenny, who built several features at the museum and can provide a unique and personal perspective of this wonderful attraction.
